Los Angeles County is huge and while you’re looking for a job and a place to live, or going to school, figuring out how to get around is critical. If you were in foster care or on probation after age 16 and are currently between the ages of 18 and 21, you may qualify for a free transit pass as part of Los Angeles County’s Youth on the Move program.
The first thing you need to do is fill out this application and release. Once you complete these two forms, submit them in person at the Metroplex location (3530 Wilshire Blvd., 4th floor) or email youthhds@dcfs.lacounty.gov.
